Hello! I'm Dawn K. Cooper, a children's book author hailing from the vibrant city of Newark, NJ. Growing up in a close-knit family, I discovered my love for storytelling early on, inspired by the experiences and personalities that surrounded me.
Inspiration
My stories are deeply rooted in the warmth and wisdom of my family. Each character I create carries a piece of my loved ones, from the playful spirit of my siblings to the nurturing guidance of my parents and grandparents. These tales are crafted with the hope of bringing joy, understanding, and a sense of belonging to young readers.
